I’m a 1978 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and proudly served as an officer in the U.S. Army until 1987. After my military service, I spent 36 fulfilling years as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch, where I had the privilege of helping families plan for their financial future with clarity and confidence.
In 2025, after retiring from finance, I partnered with my son Michael to co-found Southern Softwash Pros. We saw an opportunity to combine our values — excellence, integrity, and service — and bring them to a growing need in the home services industry.
I believe that no job is too small to be done right, and I bring the same discipline and pride to this work that I carried throughout my career. It's been a joy building something meaningful with my son and serving the Raleigh community together.

Before starting this business, I spent years working in software development and later transitioned into handyman work, where I found real satisfaction in solving problems with my hands and helping homeowners directly. That hands-on experience, combined with my eye for detail from the tech world, naturally led me to launch Southern Softwash Pros.
We specialize in safe, effective soft washing for homes, roofs, driveways, and more — with a focus on quality, care, and honest service. Whether it’s removing years of buildup or helping your home look its best for the market, I approach every job with the same precision and pride I’ve carried throughout my career.
When I’m not working, I’m usually with my family, tackling home projects, or finding ways to improve and grow both of my businesses. If you’re looking for someone who’s dependable, detail-oriented, and will treat your home like their own — I’d love to work with you.
